Prudence Venture invests in Beyond Innovation Technology 2003/8

Taipei --- August 09, 2003 – Prudence Venture Investment Corp. (PVIC) a premier Tapei-based venture capital firm that invests throughout the Pan-pacific basin, confirmed today its investment in Beyond Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. Other investors also include China Development Industry Bank and Gains Capital.

Beyond Innovation Technology (BiTek) was established in 1999 as a fabless design house with an emphasis on CCFL controllers, chip inverters, video processors and other mixed-signal products. BiTek boasts a core team with solid background in analog and mixed signal ICs and is currently the only Taiwan-based supplier of CCFL controller chips. BiTek also has a strong lineup of investors including UMC, BenQ and Mitac.
